How Square Face Icon Generator handles data

This page explains the types of information the site uses to provide avatar creation, comments, likes, image uploads, and privacy-minimal first-party product statistics. Advertising integrations are not active in the current build. Last updated: September 22, 2026.

1. Anonymous local identifiers

The site may create a local user identifier in your browser so features like comments, likes, and nickname persistence can work without a full account system. This identifier is used to support community interactions and reduce accidental duplication.

2. Comments and uploaded images

If you post a comment or upload an image, the submitted content, nickname, associated anonymous user identifier, and uploaded image URL may be stored so the community area can function. Please do not upload sensitive personal information or images you do not have the right to share.

3. Analytics

The current build does not load Google Analytics, Plausible Analytics, or another third-party analytics script. It may send a small set of first-party events such as page views, classic-tool clicks, player starts, downloads, and AI generation attempts to the site's own API. These events do not include IP addresses, user agents, referrers, cookies, advertising identifiers, comment text, or uploaded images. A short-lived browser session identifier may be sent only to estimate journeys and is not linked to an account.

4. Advertising

The current build does not load Google AdSense ad units. Before advertising is enabled, the site will add a consent management flow where required, publish the final vendor disclosures, and place ads only on pages with clear original tool guidance. After activation, Google and its advertising partners may set or read cookies, use web beacons, process IP addresses and other identifiers, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and serve contextual or personalized ads. You can manage advertising preferences through Google's Ad Settings.

5. Avatar generation and exports

Most avatar editing happens in the browser. Exports you create for your own use are initiated by your device. If an image is generated or uploaded through server-side services, that content may be processed as needed to fulfill the requested feature.

6. Third-party services

The project relies on Cloudflare Pages/Workers/D1/R2 for hosting, storage, first-party event statistics, and APIs, Google Fonts for typography, and QR Server only when a social card QR code is requested. The current build does not request resources from Google Analytics, Plausible, or Google AdSense. These providers may process technical data when your browser requests their resources. Their own privacy policies also apply.

7. Data removal

If you need to report a comment, uploaded image, request removal of your content, or raise a privacy concern, use the contact options listed on the Contact page. Please include the page URL, the relevant nickname or image URL, and enough detail for the issue to be located. We may retain a minimal abuse-prevention record of the request.
